The IVL Foundation provided financial assistance to Operation Smile USA, a charitable organization that has provided hundreds of thousands of free surgeries for children and young adults who are born with cleft lips, cleft palates or other dental and facial conditions.
As this activity falls within the objectives of the Foundation “to support the medical and public health activities for the underprivileged and the poor”, the Foundation supported their mission in Myanmar one time to help more children who lacked the necessary funds to access free operations, allowing them to live happier and healthier lives. This program assisted 100 children who underwent surgery at Pyin Oo Lwin Hospital in Myanmar in 2018.
