Building on last year’s efforts, the IVL Foundation continues its support for Bannurnpayom School and its sub-branch in Bueng Nakhon through our Rural Development Project in 2024, focusing on enhancing educational experiences and community development.
This year, IVLF has implemented the Satellite Consolidation Strategy (SCS), which aims to minimize new regional projects by consolidating knowledge and introducing new activities within existing IVLF initiatives.
Since the start of the year, IVLF has conducted several activities, including:
Infrastructure Improvements:
- – Constructed a new storage room for the solar cell battery.
- – Renovated the computer room and toilets for teachers and students.
- – Installed electric fans in the canteen and classrooms.
- – Set up a solar cell system in the library at Bueng Nakhon Branch.
- – Built a concrete walkway at Bueng Nakhon Branch.
Educational Resource Upgrades:
- – Enhanced libraries with diverse books and materials to promote reading.
- – Donated additional tables and chairs for student use.
Extracurricular Activities:
- – Organized workshops on mushroom cultivation and hydroponic farming to equip students with practical agricultural skills that enhance food security and promote economic growth.
- – Conducted a Reproductive Health Education workshop for students in Grades 5 to 9, covering topics such as sexual and reproductive health, healthy relationships, consent, and sexually transmitted diseases. The aim was to empower students to make informed decisions and communicate effectively in a supportive environment.
- – Hosted a recreational day at Bueng Nakhon Branch, unveiling a newly renovated library with an expanded collection of books, academic resources, and multimedia tools. Activities included a Spirited Away screening for cultural insights and interactive games promoting creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking. Students were also tasked with maintaining the library, encouraging ownership and responsibility.
- – Organized a youth camp at Bannurnpayom School, bringing together 20 volunteers to introduce students to diverse career paths, including engineering, medicine, law, data analytics, and HR. The camp featured interactive stations like brick-laying for engineering, problem-solving for science, and detective games for coding, creating an engaging and immersive learning experience.
This commitment ensures that students at Bannurnpayom School receive a comprehensive education while gaining valuable tools for their future.

Other than Bannurnpayom School, IVLF has extended its support to the nearby Ban Ta Mai Lai Children Development Center. IVLF provided support for the renovation of the canteen, which was severely decayed due to termite damage. This urgent need for renovation was highlighted through our partnership with the Bueng Nakhon Subdistrict Administration Organization in Hua Hin, raising concerns about safety. The renovation was completed in June 2024, and the new canteen now offers a safe space for 52 children to enjoy their meals and play. This reflects IVLF’s commitment to working with local stakeholders to improve community facilities.
In addition to the canteen renovation, the center was also facing issues with unstable electricity due to a decaying battery that could not provide sufficient power. Recognizing the importance of reliable electricity for the students’ learning, IVLF donated a new battery for the school’s solar cell system. The new battery ensures a stable power supply for both the canteen and classrooms.
